We aim to show our customers just some of the riches that are to be found in the textiles from the Indian subcontinent.

In our store you will find a wide selection of embroidered and plain silk jackets, suitable for parties, weddings and other special events. These come in all sizes from 8 to 22. We sell silk trousers in all sizes to match.

We also have an exclusive arrangement with a leading fashion designer in Gujarat, Archana Shah, with whom we have worked with three years.  Archana is based in Ahmedabad and is widely known throughout India for encouraging craftsmen and women to use their skills in the clothing that she makes. So you will find silk and cotton weaves, running stitch designs, embroidered muslins based on the chikan work from Lucknow, cotton tops and skirts all of which are exclusive to Maharani.

Within the store you will also find cotton bedspreads, reversible cotton quilts and a range of old textiles including phulkari, bagh, kantha and much more.

Please also note that we have one of the widest ranges of shawls in London.  These include the finest embroidered and plain pashminas, shawls in wool and cashmere as well as silk and cotton shawls and dupattas.

Our pashminas come from Kashmir and we are proud to work with the Andraabi brothers who have done much to bring this exquisite work back into the public eye.

We also sell costume jewellery from Jaipur and Hyderabad.

Everything in the store has been sourced personally in India.
